As a charter member of Mid-Shores Home Builders Association, Dan was twice elected Association President and continues to belong to several committees as well as being a State and National Director. He is a past recipient of the Association's Builder of the Year award and the 2007 People's Choice Award for the Association's Parade of Homes. In 2005 Dan was selected as President of the Wisconsin Builders' Association, and also continues committee work at the state level as well. Dan is involved in several community organizations including the New Holstein Economic Development Committee, Kiel High School's School to Work program, and Lakeshore Technical College's Carpenter Apprenticeship committee. Dan eagerly continues to increase his knowledge of products, code changes, construction techniques and emerging trends by attending seminars and trades shows and often includes his staff at these events. By being involved in the builders associations allows Dan the opportunity to participate in numerous community service projects as well as work with elected officials to promote quality, safe, and affordable housing. Dan has recently completed 12 hours of continuing education credits for Wisconsin contractors.
